Ook dit jaar is SmartGrid weer trotse partner van het MTB Festival op de VAM-berg. Al meerdere edities zorgt SmartGrid voor een betrouwbare en duurzame energievoorziening tijdens het evenement en ook dit jaar draaien we weer op hun innovatieve batterijsystemen.

Waar evenementen vaak afhankelijk zijn van aggregaten, kiest het MTB Festival bewust voor een stiller en schoner alternatief. De batterij-oplossingen van SmartGrid leveren betrouwbare stroom, zonder geluidsoverlast en zonder uitstoot. Daarmee sluiten ze perfect aan bij de duurzame ambities van het evenement.

SmartGrid is gespecialiseerd in zowel tijdelijke als permanente energieoplossingen. Van mobiele batterijen tot complete maatwerksystemen: ze zorgen ervoor dat er altijd en overal energie beschikbaar is, zelfs op locaties waar geen netaansluiting aanwezig is.

Dear Team Captain,

Great to have you joining us for the Squirt Trophy VAM-Berg! You’ve booked a team area, and below you’ll find all the practical information regarding setup, access, and the team layout.

 Location of the Team Areas

The team areas are located along the wide road near the event site, on the left-hand side as you enter. Please note: the surface is partly paved, so take this into account when setting up and securing your tent or canopy.

 Setup & Access

• Setup is possible from Friday at 15:00.
• After that, the team areas are accessible and can be left at any time.
• On Friday and Saturday, use the following navigation address: [click here]
• If you’re arriving on Sunday, please follow the special access route as indicated on the map attached below. (add map or attachment)
  

 Emergency Access

The team area is located along a road that must remain accessible for emergency vehicles at all times.
 Please make sure to stay within the chalk-marked zones and leave enough space for passage.
Maximum width 4 to 4.5 meters.
Length varies depending on the booked spot (7.5 or 15 meters).

 Facilities

• No power or water is available, so teams must be fully self-sufficient.
• Parking at your team area is allowed, as long as your vehicle fits entirely within your designated space.

Thanks for booking a camping spot during the MTB Festival at the VAM-Berg! We’ve secured a great field again this year, and we’re getting everything ready for your arrival.

Here’s what you need to know:

• We’ll be preparing the camping field tomorrow, and on Friday morning, we’ll place the signs with the spot numbers.
• This means your camping spot will be ready by around midday, 15:00 on Friday.
• Each spot is marked with a wooden post that has your number on it and an arrow pointing toward your designated area.
• The marked areas will be larger than 10×5 meters, so please pay close attention to the posts and the space around them.

Important – entering the field: To get onto the grassy field, you’ll need to drive over a “ridge”. Take it slow, especially in the dark. Not sure about it? Just hop out to have a quick look first. 🙂

Met trots maken wij bekend dat Squirt Cycling Products de nieuwe naamgevend partner is van de internationale mountainbikewedstrijd op de VAM-Berg. Het evenement gaat vanaf dit jaar verder onder de naam: Squirt Trophy VAM-Berg.

Squirt is wereldwijd toonaangevend in smeermiddelen voor de fiets en staat vooral bekend om de Squirt Chain Lube – een unieke, wax-based kettingolie die vuil afstoot, lang meegaat en zorgt voor een efficiënte en stille aandrijflijn. Het product is biologisch afbreekbaar en geliefd onder mountainbikers vanwege de prestaties in alle omstandigheden.

De wedstrijd op de VAM-Berg maakt deel uit van de 3 Nations Cup, een internationale mountainbikeserie met wedstrijden in Nederland, België en Duitsland. Deze serie is een belangrijk platform voor zowel opkomende talenten als internationale toppers in de cross-country discipline.

Sinds de eerste editie op de VAM-Berg heeft de wedstrijd al enkele indrukwekkende winnaars gekend. Zo schreven onder anderen Puck Pieterse, inmiddels Europees kampioen en World Cup-winnares, en Samuel Gaze, wereldkampioen shorttrack, de race op hun naam. De Squirt Trophy VAM-Berg blijft hiermee een vaste waarde op de internationale kalender.

Wij willen TORQ van harte bedanken voor hun jarenlange betrokkenheid als naamgevend partner van het evenement. Met hun inzet hebben zij bijgedragen aan de groei en professionalisering van de wedstrijd. We zijn dan ook verheugd dat TORQ verbonden blijft aan het evenement als nieuwe naamgever van de volledige 3 Nations Cup. Daarmee blijft hun aanwezigheid op de VAM-Berg gewaarborgd.
